The Choice is Yours

This eclipse, I invite us to release all that is not patience and love for our own unique process of becoming.

No two loves, no two downward dogs, no two quests for purpose are ever the same.

Our earth (and our very nature!) is both trickster and a nonconformist, creating similarity in the seemingly disparate, and vast difference in the seemingly identical.

Take a moment to closely appreciate her vast array of life, and you will see what I mean.

As cerebral beings, we hold the polarity of conformity and nonconformity simultaneously.

We take on the capacity for both, as needed.

This balancing act we do is a beautiful thing.....so long as we realize that the pendulum is meant to swing in perpetual motion, instead of being held in place by force.

There can be general rules & roles we find useful to abide by as we develop....however, even these 'rules' are there to stimulate and encourage individual expression!

There can also be reliable tools we use on our journeys to create predictable results......but these tools are truly functional insofar as they give us the freedom to create something powerfully new!

I don't need to conform to someone's idea of a femme, teacher, Tarot reader, artist to be happy and successful....and I don't need to perform these roles like an exhausting sideshow to be abundant either.

Neither do you.

It is enough for us to fully embody who we are already, and continue to offer that up to the world with the fullest courage, intelligence, and love we can muster.

It is enough for us to know how to work with the energy we already hold as our own.

These dense stories about needing to conform and perform, whether in business, fitness, or bed?

They are conditioning and shame, useful only to keep us off-balance trying to finally be 'good enough' (good enough for what and whom, exactly?)

The only purpose shame serves is to keep us fitting in with others who are also ashamed. If we take the mechanism of shame to its logical conclusion, we get a world full of people who can barely look in a mirror or each other, and tragically long to be someone other than who they are.

I invite you to practice making the choice!

The choice of dropping shame, and making space for stepping into a place of celebrating your uniqueness and creative nature instead.

To make that choice as often as possible.

So we can continue to be blessed by a world where people can still see, honor, and give their gifts.

Whether it is your body in a yoga pose, your voice in a song, your words in a conflict, your butt in those pants: Your unique expression is yours to own and shape however you wish, the very moment you decide to release shame.

X Natalia
